Event Production

Wild Night on the Catwalk was the fundraising event of the year in southern Vermont. Over 500 people came to support the Brattleboro Area Hospice. The Night included a Not So Silent Auction with five different themes including an Italian villa trip, a Fenway vacation to see the Red Sox, and a Big Apple trip to stay a weekend in New York City.

Ad Vice was proud to be a part of the planning and production group of volunteers dubbed Team Decor. 16 people of the region planned for a year this event to raise awareness for the Hospice organization of Brattleboro.

Ad Vice provided strategic planning for promoting the event and then tactical development of digital marketing solutions. We used the social networking site, facebook as a way casting a wide net to our potential customers as well as a facebook group as an intranet to communicate between the volunteers.

We also hosted, designed, and built the event’s web site where customers could purchase tickets online as well as find directions, GPS coordinates, and importantly, see the event sponsors. The sponsors had varying levels of giving and were placed as such with links to each of those businesses.

The site resulted in selling about a third of the tickets for the event.

We also led a video blogging campaign to promote the event. Volunteers self produced videos of themselves shopping at the second hand store, Experienced Goods, which is owned by Brattleboro Area Hospice. The videos were then posted to facebook to create an association between the volunteer, the upcoming event and their friend network.

We then re-launched the site using new material that had been captured at the event. The new site then turned it’s focus to promoting the designs that had been shown during the fashion show. These were for sale at the Experienced Goods retail store. The site had the designs displayed as a fashion magazine where the navigation system was the images of themselves.

We are very pleased to have been a part of this event and are always looking for organizations that want help with amplifying their message.
